Inspired

confident power and scale of Roman architecture with the lyrical beauty of the
high Renaissance.
Architects Christopher H. Belknap, David
Brown and Stephen R. Sutherland crafted a sublime residence of transporting
beauty, hewn of the finest natural materials and now embellished with
magnificent fine art, craftsmanship, and regal furnishings.
The two wings of Castello della Costa d’Oro extend out from the Grand Ballroom at a slight angle, visually embracing the terrace that runs along the rear exposure, and opening the rooms to the ocean and forest views to the south. The East Wing houses the residence's private domain, including the enfolding luxury of the Master Suite, while the West Wing showcases hospitality--from the stylish Onyx Bar to the light-hearted
